CLICK IT is seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer for a position in Cincinnati, OH.  The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to work with the billing support team to author and maintain an automation test suite for BillingCenter.  The team is charged with maintaining, enhancing and upgrading the application used for billing and receivables management.   

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and identify existing or potential issues
  • Create and maintain testing deliverables based on user requirements and technical specifications
  • Tests software in accordance with established quality standards prior to implementation to ensure proper operation and freedom from critical defects
  • Analyze test results in order to report any defects, bugs, errors or configuration issues
  • Communicate testing progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
  • Assist in process improvements to current procedures
  • Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices

Qualifications:

  • Create and execute on testing tasks tied to user stories, defects and enhancements which may include test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures focused on positive and negative scenarios
  • Writing code to automate testing of software components, business functions, workflows and integrations
  • Integration of automation scripts into continuous integration environment
  • Identify and log issues into appropriate defect tracking system, monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
  • Work collaboratively with BillingCenter Developers and Business Analysts to coordinate plans to improve the quality of test coverage.
  • Communicate status and escalate risks as necessary
  • Collaboration with QA team members for knowledge transfer and backup training.
  • Participate in Daily Scrum meetings and Release planning sessions.

Skills:

  • 5+ year’s experience with hands on test automation (Java, C#, Cucumber, Selenium)
  • 7+ years experience in Quality Assurance of multi-tiered web applications
  • Experience using defect tracking tool (Rally, Quality Center)
  • Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts
  • Experience using Xpath or CSS to identify objects
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills

CLICK IT is seeking six (6) Java Developers with strong SQL script writing skills in the Cincinnati area.  As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the analysis, design, development, customization, installation, testing and maintenance of Warehouse Execution/Control System software. Project Work:

Requirements and Desired Experience

  • Proven experience in software design and development as evidenced by experience in software development with JAVA, XML, Webservices, and Spring framework.
  • In addition, the Developer must be skilled with writing and executing complex SQL queries and understanding relational databases.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of all software developed, including the preparation of sample test data and the execution of program, job stream and system testing.

Acquisition & Deployment: 
1.  Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to obtain disaster recovery/business continuity services and products
2.  Investigate and test new disaster recovery software and/or technologies
3.  Recommend and coordinate continuity improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases.
 
Operational Management: 
1.  Develop and establish disaster recovery procedures for the restoration of business applications in the event of natural disasters, technical failures, power outages, and human interference
2.  Manage processes and coordinate all aspects of actual recovery plan implementation and efforts, including maintenance of application criticality ratings, initial emergency response, recovery procedures, and business resumption processes
3.  Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee maintenance of policies, procedures and associated plans for disaster recovery administration and IT business continuity based on industry-standard best practices
4.  Inform and train staff members on their responsibilities concerning IT business continuity procedures and emergency response
5.  Ensure that company equipment, systems, services, and IT facility are compliant with disaster recovery plans and procedures
6.  Ensure the preservation of vital information, data, or media through diligent maintenance of physical copies and backup equipment
7.  Continually conduct simulations and test runs of system disruptions in order to revise and perfect plans
8. Assess need for any disaster security reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required
9. Investigate and recommend locations for off-site storage of data and backups
10.  Keep current with emerging disaster recovery and IT business continuity alerts and issues
