CLICK IT is seeking six (6) Java Developers with strong SQL script writing skills in the Cincinnati area.  As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the analysis, design, development, customization, installation, testing and maintenance of Warehouse Execution/Control System software. The custom applications you create will assist our clients in becoming more efficient and provide a better service to their customers.

Project Work:

  • Design, develop, and customize the Warehouse Execution/Control System software for new and existing clients, as well as participate in the development of new industry leading products.
  • Developers must work directly with customers to gather, analyze and synthesize functional requirements and integrate customizations into the current software base.
  • Developers will travel to client sites to perform system configuration and implementation of developed solutions and may include training end users.
  • Developers will prepare all required documentation detailing the technical solution and system functionality.

Support Work:

  • Maintain and fix issues, including the improvement of the performance and reliability of our current Warehouse Execution/Control System software for our existing customers. The Developer must understand the specifics of the implementation for each customer they work with.
  • The Developer will work directly with the customers to understand reported issues and schedule patches with fixes.

Requirements and Desired Experience

  • Must be able to work in the United States permanently. At this time, we will not sponsor employees.
  • Proven experience in software design and development as evidenced by experience in software development with JAVA, XML, Webservices, and Spring framework.
  • In addition, the Developer must be skilled with writing and executing complex SQL queries and understanding relational databases.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of all software developed, including the preparation of sample test data and the execution of program, job stream and system testing.
  • Stellar verbal, written communication and organizational skills, along with interpersonal skills that allow for collaboration across a diverse group of people.
  • Design or modify system / application code to accomplish desired functions in an optimum manner and in conformance with software development life cycle standards using Agile framework is important.
  • Experience with Apache CFX, JavaScript, Web UI, CSS, HTML, Angular 4, and Model, View, Control (MVC) is a big plus.
  • WES/WCS experience is a big plus.

 Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing with an emphasis on social media and modern technology platforms preferred
  • Online sales and eCommerce experience required.  (Experience with Google analytics and SEO generation)

  • Tracking risk and gap findings and reporting to upper management for visibility and escalation. 
  • Communicate risk treatment methodologies to the appropriate groups.
  • Participate in external regulatory audits with other team members to communicate current controls.
  • Review new regulations on a periodic basis for security impact to the company.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in Information Technology with experience in applications or systems
  • 3+ years working in risk assessments or risk management and/or controls audits
  • Working knowledge of security risk assessments and related frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks or compliance standards, preferably in HIPAA/PCI
  • Working knowledge of vendor management

CLICK IT is seeking a Disaster Recovery Specialist for a PERM position in the Cincinnati, OH area.  The Disaster Recovery Specialist/ Coordinator’s role is to ensure the integrity and availability of data, data systems, and data networks across the organization during periods when “normal” operations have been interrupted.  This includes designing and implementing disaster recovery processes and IT business continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic.  Will also perform and analyze disaster simulations for the prompt restoration of services and conduct disaster related security audits where required.

Operational Management: 
1.  Develop and establish disaster recovery procedures for the restoration of business applications in the event of natural disasters, technical failures, power outages, and human interference
2.  Manage processes and coordinate all aspects of actual recovery plan implementation and efforts, including maintenance of application criticality ratings, initial emergency response, recovery procedures, and business resumption processes
3.  Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee maintenance of policies, procedures and associated plans for disaster recovery administration and IT business continuity based on industry-standard best practices
4.  Inform and train staff members on their responsibilities concerning IT business continuity procedures and emergency response
5.  Ensure that company equipment, systems, services, and IT facility are compliant with disaster recovery plans and procedures
6.  Ensure the preservation of vital information, data, or media through diligent maintenance of physical copies and backup equipment
7.  Continually conduct simulations and test runs of system disruptions in order to revise and perfect plans
8. Assess need for any disaster security reconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required
9. Investigate and recommend locations for off-site storage of data and backups

This position allows for working with fun, cutting edge technologies combined with an ability to exercise creativity while programming in a team environment.  In this role, you will develop code according to provided specifications, create technical design documentation, and develop coding logic flowcharts.  You will also encode, test, debug, and document code and procedures. User Interface design and development experience required, preferably in retail or fast food industry environment.
 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned
Consult with client groups to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements.
Convert designs and specifications into code.  Compile code and correct errors detected in compilation process.  Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise code.  Test code using structured testing methodology, confirm programs meet specifications.  Document testing and ensure that the tests meet quality assurance requirements.
Work with team members to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Train and assist team members in developmental skills.  Ensure development standards are adhered to (i.e. coding syntax, look and feel, commenting methods).
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about developed software. Train internal and end users and monitor software after implementation.
Write and maintain technical specifications, documentation to describe program development, coding, testing, changes, and corrections, installation and operation of developed software.  Review written documentation of installation and operation of software.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
4-6 years’ experience in a Web Development environment, with strong focus on User Interfaces and integration with Business Services.
Experience with Core Java (Java 1.5 and subsequent versions, JUnit test scripts)
Experience with Java Frameworks (Java EE and Spring), and core Enterprise APIs: Web Services (JAX-WS, SOAP/REST), JPA (Hibernate), EJB 3.0, JMS (TIBCO preferred), CDI, Swing, Servlets. JSP
Experience in Web Development using CSS, HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery and JQuery UI frameworks
Experience with open source tools such as Maven and SVN version control system
Experience with Linux operating system
Experience with IDEs such as (IntelliJ and Eclipse)
Point of sales experience preferred
