Responsibilities

  • Will work in a DevOps environment providing daily operational support for (PCF) Pivotal Cloud Foudry platform monitoring and management, high availability, creation and maintenance of automation scripts and supporting application teams.
  • Establish and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for deployment of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and similar products.
  • High level of analysis/troubleshooting of Cloud Environments on a Linux platform.
  • Work with Java Developers and Application Development teams to tune and monitor PCF environment.
  • Work with incident management, problem management, configuration management and change.
  • Create and maintain documentation pertaining to the PCF platform
  • Learn, deploy and document newer technologies for the potential deployment of services.
  • Driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools & processes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge/ experience in application packaging for rapid deployment & scaling (e.g. Docker) 
  • Hands on experience with BOSH, Chef or related automation tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various teams and levels of management.
  • Strong understanding off system and application monitoring tools such as New Relic
  • Experience in Creating, managing and maintaining the new custom build packs deployed in PCF environment.
  • Must be able to work independently in the absence of Supervision.

CLICK IT is seeking several Business Intelligence Business Analysts (various levels of experience) for Perm positions in the Cincinnati, OH area.  Serves as a liaison between IT, Operations and the business line to analyze non-standard business and user needs, document requirements, and resolve complex system problems with a focus on data. Coordinates development and support for new, existing applications, and reporting environments. Possesses a sound understanding of business systems, industry requirements, and warehouse methodologies. Acts as a team leader for assigned projects. Guides and trains less experienced analysts through project work.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Functions as the liaison between the business line, operations, and the technical areas throughout the project cycle. 
  • Possesses strong knowledge of the business line, including the business plan, products, process and revenue streams.
  • Plays a key role in the planning, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and conversions. Ensure system enhancements follow the appropriate IT guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements, and are completed in a timely fashion. May perform project leader role for projects.
  • Identifies system enhancements, documents business needs and determines development impact to current system processing. Works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements. 
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of ETL processing methods, and the underlying data models.
  • Plays a key role in understanding the required uses of the data involved within projects and leads the creation of the data mapping, data models, and reporting needed to meet the project needs. 
  • Leads the creation of testing needed to ensure appropriate data mapping, modeling, and reporting.
  • Reviews operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency. 
  • Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects. 
  • Provides guidance and context in prioritizing and determining complexity of problems and requests. 
  • Partners with the technical areas in the research and resolution of system and process problems. 
  • Identifies, researches, and analyzes production problems develops solutions, and resolves problems.
  • Works with programming resources (in house and third party) to ensure development work is completed to specification.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Undergraduate degree in Info Systems or equivalent with experience as an IT Business Analyst
  • Experience in the utilization of SQL to analyze data.
  • Experience logically modeling data.
  • Demonstrate sound IT fundamentals and experience in a matrixed IT environment. 
  • PM Methodology and SDLC/Testing QA Experience a plus.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills/ experience.

Consult with client groups to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements.
Convert designs and specifications into code.  Compile code and correct errors detected in compilation process.  Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise code.  Test code using structured testing methodology, confirm programs meet specifications.  Document testing and ensure that the tests meet quality assurance requirements.
Work with team members to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
Train and assist team members in developmental skills.  Ensure development standards are adhered to (i.e. coding syntax, look and feel, commenting methods).
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about developed software. Train internal and end users and monitor software after implementation.
Write and maintain technical specifications, documentation to describe program development, coding, testing, changes, and corrections, installation and operation of developed software.  Review written documentation of installation and operation of software.
