Position Summary

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of overall IT experience with a background in security engineering, information protection, information lifecycle management, data loss prevention or the supporting of these security solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of information systems, computer science, cyber security or related field.
  • Background and expertise in any or all of the following technology stacks preferred: Data Loss

The Vice President of Operations will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of product deployment/implementation, project delivery, and tier 3 technical support including partnering with Client Relations teams for the support of client concerns and strategic service delivery plans. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of the unit’s key processes and deliverables, including product development, deployment, and service.
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with Company Leadership and other key stakeholders to develop a roadmap that supports the company’s strategic vision and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute clearly defined workflow processes for managers
  • Own the strategy and project management for the full life cycle of all client operations, including: Sales, Software Development, Implementation, and Delivery
  • Identify and cultivate internal and external relationships that consistently supports growth.
  • Effectively communicate deliverables and deadlines
  • Collaborate with functional and business leadership to ensure methodologies used incorporate change, release, environment management and test management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure business continuity of software applications, databases and products.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Development teams to ensure consistency.
  • Enhance and manage an internal dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs).

 
 Minimum Requirements   
 Education

  • MBA
  • Must have led an organization through growth periods and know how to set requirements that promote growth.
  • At least 10 years of proven operations experience at a senior level

    This position allows for working with fun, cutting edge technologies combined with an ability to exercise creativity while programming in a team environment.  In this role, you will develop code according to provided specifications, create technical design documentation, and develop coding logic flowcharts.  You will also encode, test, debug, and document code and procedures. User Interface design and development experience required, preferably in retail or fast food industry environment.
     
     Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned
    Consult with client groups to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements.
    Convert designs and specifications into code.  Compile code and correct errors detected in compilation process.  Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise code.  Test code using structured testing methodology, confirm programs meet specifications.  Document testing and ensure that the tests meet quality assurance requirements.
    Work with team members to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
    Train and assist team members in developmental skills.  Ensure development standards are adhered to (i.e. coding syntax, look and feel, commenting methods).
    Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about developed software. Train internal and end users and monitor software after implementation.
    Write and maintain technical specifications, documentation to describe program development, coding, testing, changes, and corrections, installation and operation of developed software.  Review written documentation of installation and operation of software.

    Position Summary:
    The Applications Specialist will perform a number of application administration, support and use training, and development tasks as necessary, and the project management of enhancement or change request to various applications. The position will provide Tier II/III support for application layer support issues, and will own application oriented projects from custom report building, SQL development, integration points, data connectors, application administration and security management, and more.
     
    Select Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with the IT team, the application specialist will lead and complete activities involved in the design, development and system analysis functions required to administer the company's CRM and Great Plains Systems
    • Accountable for a wide range of application related activities including but not limited to: user security administration and licensing management, custom integration point development/management, SQL database administration, analyzing existing and potential applications to advance process improvement for end users and achieve organizational goals
    • Management of application layer vendors, contractors, developers
    • Database Data Connection implementation and oversight for third-party data collection utilizing EDI and or ETL technologies
    • Custom report writing and automation scheduling using SSRS, etc.
    • Will conduct meetings with users, understand their pain points, and work to develop a plan to resolve issues and advance organizational goals
    • Researches and test Enterprise Software with OS, critical updates, and service packs for compatibility issues
    • Maintains detailed documentation of application customizations and integration points
    • Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems for desktops and laptops
    • A member of the Disaster Recovery team in the updating, testing and use of a DR scenario

     
    Qualifications & Background:

    • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 3 years application/development experience, evaluating and documenting system requirements to meet business needs, meeting with stakeholders, building consensus, etc.
    • Experienced working with various applications and development technologies: SQL Server administration, Stored Procedure development, EDI/ETL, HTML, MS Access, .NET, etc.
    • Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problems assigned or encountered
