Responsibilities:  Prepares moderately complex financial and business related analysis and reporting. Defines business and legal reporting requirements through research, interpretation of regulations, and business unit requests to meet customer needs.

  • Effectively utilizes statistical reporting procedures that designate the use of check lists, submission logs, data transmissions and data receipt confirmations.

Qualifications:

  • Seeking someone with a solid understanding of Cognos or related data management tools and how they work. 
  • Working knowledge of Report Studio and be able to create ad hoc reports including join queries, create prompts, charts, etc. 
  • Should also be able to review existing reports and be able to understand the structure and be able to make changes and maintain the report as needed. 
  • Able to problem solve and trouble shoot data discrepancies found from running reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Release Train Feature Roadmap and Planning: facilitates the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the ART, including:

    • Working with the Product Manager and Practice Managers to prioritize the features considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle
    • Assisting in refining features
    • Communicating and coordinating with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery.
    • Managing change to the ART’s PI plan and the impacts of those changes
    • Facilitates the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done criteria for all features
  • Backlog management and Rally tool data integrity for accurate reporting, including the collection of metrics, KPIs, investment mix reporting, and other reporting as needed

Position Summary:

Position Overview:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field

  • Experience leading multiple (2+) teams concurrently, with direct responsibility for tracking & reporting on key metrics
  • Foundational understanding of iterative development fundamentals, and the value of metric reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to apply best practices re: backlog management, capturing burndown & velocity metrics and task-level definition/estimation
