Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Application Development Manager and with collaboration of their scrum team, the Software Developer(s) will design and develop application programs to provide business solutions primarily for internal facing customers. The duties of this position will be divided among developing new applications/processes to meet the demands of business units as well as supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing code bases.
 
 Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Intrusion Analyst is responsible for responding to crisis or urgent situations within the information security domain to mitigate immediate and potential threats. The Analyst uses mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery approaches, as needed, to preserve information security. This position investigates and analyzes all relevant response activities and collects, processes, preserves, analyzes, and presents computer-related evidence in support of network vulnerability mitigation and computer security investigations. Identifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals, produces findings to help initialize or support computer network defense actviities.

Role and Responsibilities 

Responds to crisis or urgent situations within information security to mitigate threats (20%)

·    Collect intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential Computer Defense Incidents within the enterprise.

·   Coordinate with and provide expert technical support to enterprise Security Analysts to resolve Computer Network Defense incidents

·    Correlate incident data to identify specific vulnerabilities and make recommendations that enable expeditious remediation

·    Perform command and control functions in response to incidents

·    Serve as technical expert and liaison to law enforcement personnel and explain incident details as required

 

Uses mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery approaches to preserve information security (20%)

·    Employ approved Defense in Depth principles and practices (i.e., Defense in Multiple Places, Layered defenses, Security robustness, etc.)

·    Monitor external data sources (e.g., Computer Network Defense vendor sites, Computer Emergency Response Teams, SANS, Security Focus) to maintain currency of Computer Network Defense threat condition and determine which security issues may have an impact on the enterprise

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·    BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field required; Masters preferred

·    10+ years of experience in IT with 8+ years of experience in the Information Security area

CLICK IT is seeking a Sr Network Security Engineer for perm positions in Cincinnati, OH.  The employee will provide technical and project management leadership for the planning, design, and implementation of information system security solutions, procedures, and policies that help achieve its information security goals and objectives. 
 
The employee will provide expert-level knowledge and experience within the Information Systems (IT) Network Security discipline. Emphasis will be placed on the design, operation, and management of network intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, and security monitoring systems. The employee should also have advanced knowledge of enterprise IT security best practices, TCP/IP networks, and network security architectures. A strong working knowledge of network firewalls, VPN solutions, endpoint security solutions, and wireless LAN (802.11) security protocols is also required.
